Cuvée Sesterzio Brut

Typology: Metodo classico sparking wine

An elegant sparking wine produced in the classic method with a pleasant freshness and interesting body.

Grape variety: The red berried grape varieties of nebbiolo, rossola and pignola are transformed into white wine, and combined with the white grapes of chardonnay and pinot bianco.

Vinification and aging: Gentle pressing of the hand-picked grapes in horizontal membrane presses and then fermented at a low temperature. In the spring following the harvest the wine is bottled for its 'in-bottle refermentation', or secondary fermentation, which lasts 24 months.
Then the bottles undertake remuage, or riddling, by hand before being newly corked and labelled ready for use.

Alcohol content: 13,5% vol.

Serving temperature: 4°C - 6°C

Food pairing: Ideally served with appetizers or alongside any course, particularly with dishes featuring delicately flavoured meat and fish
